What a difference such little things done to a house can make

A full repaint, some clear sealing on the porch. We replaced the trim to match the soffits and windows, all the doors got matched to the trim and soffits. Burwick Construction came in and added these cute little awnings over the garage and we sealed them to match the porch. And we gave the shed the cutest pastel door. Like are you kidding 😍 this is straight out of Home and Garden.

This deck was sealed last July, and during this year's maintenance wash and coat, the water beading on the railing tells the story. 💧

The way the sun pulls out those warm gold reflections against the deep rich green is unreal. This color changes throughout the day and absolutely comes alive at sunset.

A year later and this clear coat deck is still doing its job. 💧
Watch how the water beads right up on the surface — that’s a sign the wood is still properly sealed and protected. Clear coat finishes are some of the hardest to maintain long-term since they offer less UV protection than solid stains, so seeing this kind of performance after almost a year says a lot about the prep, products, and application process that went into it. In the next few weeks we will give it another good wash and add another coat for the year.
Still looking clean, protected, and ready for another season. 👌
