Septic system installation completed in Freetown, MA for a home sale after the property failed its Title V inspection.

This project included installation of a new 1,500-gallon septic tank and an Infiltrator chamber leaching field system. During excavation, we discovered a collapsed sewer line exiting the house, which required us to carefully excavate beneath the sunroom to reconnect to the original cast iron piping and ensure a reliable system for the new homeowner.

As part of the project, we also assisted the homeowner with the removal of a buried oil tank.

Another job completed the right way by Lucky 13 Excavation.

Westport septic system install
A high water table paired with tough groundwater conditions made this a challenging site—but this is where proper planning and experience make all the difference. Done right, it protects both the property and the homeowner from major issues down the line.
We built a gravel nugget roadway for access—over 100 tons—thanks to Hill & Hollow Farm. Bristol County Precast delivered as always, handling the conditions like pros.
Now we wait on landscaping until the soils dry out enough to support equipment after subgrading.
Next stop: Freetown. Stay tuned.

Our Portsmouth BSF customer wanted a solution for the sharp drop in grade from the bottom of the bsf to her fence. (Shown in first slide.)
We offered a custom raised flower bed option built off the backside of her BSF. The customer is very happy with the final outcome.

“A percolation test is a test to determine the water absorption rate of soil in preparation for the building of a septic drain field or infiltration basin. The results of a percolation test are required to properly design a septic system.”
