Its hot outdoors and Temperatures close to 100°! If your a/c is falling a little behind from set point, you can put a water sprinkler on your outdoor unit trying to hit the refrigeration coil it will help your system cool the refrigeration down helping pull Temperatures down inside your home. Manufacturers says A/C's system are design to hold 20° from outside air temperatures in your home. Hope this helps.
