Nice St. Peter’s wort, Hypericum crux-andreae, a native hypericum species (St. John’s wort) shining in this southern garden. Grown from seed from a wild collection. Native Hypericums are greatly underrated/neglected in the southern landscape and we have so many different kinds! Also the host plant of the gray hairstreak butterfly and wavy-lined emerald moth!

Hard to beat (and capture) the magnitude of pollinators enjoying the clustered mountain mint (Pycnanthemum muticum)
