We do charge a fee for after hour and weekend pumps. We do pump a full schedule Monday through Friday. We have families and enjoy our weekends just like everyone else. To avoid having to have an emergency pump on the weekends or late at night it’s important to occasionally lift the lid on your septic tank and look inside to ascertain the health of your tank. If the sludge layer at the bottom or the scum layer at the top reaches a certain percentage of the tank's total volume, it's time to pump. Typically, if the sludge is about 1 foot deep or the scum is about 6 inches thick, it's a good indicator that it’s time to get your tank pumped out.
