Another vision brought to life! 😁

We installed their new countertop this morning, and I’m happy to report that our customers absolutely LOVE it!!!

Their vision was a somewhat rustic look, with colors that would complement the warmth of their kitchen—including their new cabinets and flooring. From the countertop and backsplash to the custom rock edge, everything was created specifically for this space.

Thank you so much for all the kind words, encouragement, and excitement on my earlier sneak-peek post. It really does feel great to be back doing what I enjoy—and bringing another customer’s vision to life! ❤️

Hey everyone,

Once again, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks for all the prayers, cards, calls, messages, and kind words following the passing of our parents. It has meant more to me and my family than you'll ever know. ❤️

While life certainly isn't the same after their Celebration of Life, things have finally begun to slow down just a bit, allowing me to catch up on the projects that had to be put on hold. I also want to thank our incredibly patient and understanding customers for their kindness and patience during this difficult time.

One thing I will forever miss, is Mom always wanted to come over and see the countertops I've created before installing them😢.

It felt really good to get back out into the shop and studio, creating again. Here are a few photos from a recent install. The husband chose the countertop design, while the wife selected the colors and design for the island—a combination that brought their visions to life.

They still have a tile backsplash to install, and once that's complete, I'll share some finished photos of the completed kitchen.

Thank you all again for your continued support. It truly means the world to me.

Owning a small business isn't just about building beautiful countertops—it's about building relationships, earning trust, and having the opportunity to do what I love every day.

📌 A Follow-Up from KCDC Designs

A few weeks ago, I shared a personal update explaining why I had been a bit behind on posting, publishing YouTube videos, and keeping up with some of my normal day-to-day business activities.

I wanted to provide a brief follow-up and share that my Mom passed away on June 7th, and my Dad followed just four days later on June 11th.

It's been a difficult time for our family, but it has also been a powerful reminder of the values they lived by every single day.

Mom and Dad loved deeply, and they were deeply loved. If there's one thing I can share from their example and their faith, it's this: be kind, offer a helping hand, support one another, and always remember... it's not about you.

The world could certainly use a little more kindness.

Thank you all for your patience, understanding, prayers, and continued support during this time. It has meant more than you know.

I'll be getting back into my regular business routine soon and look forward to sharing new projects and videos with you.

A Personal Update from KCDC Designs

Over the past several weeks, many of you may have noticed that I've been a little quieter on social media than usual. Some have even reached out to check on me, and for that, I'm truly grateful.

As much as I love what I do and value every customer, student, follower, and friend who supports KCDC Designs, family has needed to come first recently.

My mother has been facing some serious health challenges, and much of my time and attention has been devoted to being with her and helping navigate difficult decisions alongside my family. While KCDC Designs remains important to me, there are moments in life when family simply takes priority.

I want to sincerely thank my customers, students, friends, and followers for your patience, understanding, support, prayers, messages, and encouragement during this time. Your kindness has meant more than you know.

Please know that KCDC Designs is still here, projects are continuing to move forward, and I remain committed to providing the same quality, craftsmanship, and service you've come to expect. Some things may take a little longer than usual, but I promise I'm doing my best to balance both family responsibilities and business commitments.

Life has a way of reminding us what matters most, and right now I'm cherishing every moment I can with the people I love.

Install complete, and just in time for class starting tomorrow morning!

Simple, clean, and built to fit the space exactly how it was envisioned.

The customer will be adding LED lighting to the recessed area of the accent piece in front, and I will add photos when they get that done.

It always starts with the customer's vision, then it's our job to bring it to life!
