Forgot to post on 8/23/25 but Happy Anniversary to 1 year of receiving our WBE Certification. It’s a bittersweet moment because we lost one of our owners in February 2025; my spitfire red headed sister.

Tonight we celebrate and gift the fifty one 2024 and 2025 Graduates and the two Apprentices of the Year. Thankful to be able to support Local 697 since 1957.

Calumet Electric Supply Corporation will only be open on December 23, 2024 next week. Our peeps are much more than employees they are family. Congratulations to Alex as he flys from the Calumet Electric Supply Corporation nest! He was at a point in his education to become an apprentice. Of course, we will miss him but we are 😊 to see his growth and future unfold. Throughout our 67 years in business Calumet Electric has always supported the journey of our employees to becoming tradespeople or move on to other opportunities. So much so is that the comment is, “Who hasn’t worked here?” when they step up to the counter or call upon us as vendors.
