Size management for a forsythia hedge. Look at Tavin at the left side of the hedge to get a full picture if the size of the hedge. Tavin is 6'.

We dug out as many of thr new branch sprouts, vine roots and invasives as possible. The goal is another 2 to 3 foot reduction over time to highlight the stone wall its hiding.

Cool project with so many moving pieces. Sod, tree work and hardscape by others.

Goal for the property was to let in sunlight, elderly accessible, simplify and add some color.

Some hard choice to remove an established landscape but the vision was achieved.

And with a grand finale work day - 12 hours of which 4 were in the pouring rain - we say good bye and good luck to hudson branem as he beings his next chapter and adventure in college.

It was a pleasure working with Hudson and I am grateful for all his hardwork and help. Not to mention my education on cool cars.
