Our family is moving north to the Tampa area and it saddens me to leave our edible backyard. I hope the new owners feel inspired by what we have left on the land my family has dwelled on for the past five years. I am looking forward to designing a new edible backyard on a smaller plot of land...I’m envisioning a meandering veggie garden and a few fruit trees.

Our dragonfruit made it’s first appearance today, the kids and I devoured it!

Kohlrabi prepping for freezing: Peel and clean. Boil for 3 minutes. Cold water bath for 3 minutes. Pack and freeze.
