“What part of the process do you enjoy most: prep, spraying, or the final reveal?”

Prepping, spraying, masking, and bringing another project to life one step at a time. It’s easy to focus on the finished product, but it’s the process that makes it happen.

Also wanted to give a shoutout to my buddy on IG for the custom track. He put this together for my birthday and I figured this was the perfect video to finally use it. Appreciate you, brother. 🤙🏼

Everyone asks about the tools.

Very few people ask about the process.

The truth is, most tools can get the job done. What separates professionals is having a system that creates consistent results with minimal wasted movement, material, and effort.

In this video I’m combining multiple masking tools, tapes, plastics, papers, and shields into one workflow. Not because any single product is magical, but because each one has a purpose within the process.

Tools help.

Fresh carpet and paint projects don’t mix unless the prep is done right. 👌

Using 2” Washi tape tucked into the carpet pile first, then locking in 3 mil protective plastic for full stair protection. Clean edges, solid hold, and way less chance of accidental paint transfer during production work.

Prep work may not be the flashy part of painting… but it’s what separates clean jobs from careless ones.
