Jim crafted a sink shelf with lighting a few years back, for Mike and Linda. When they decided to remodel the kitchen. He was asked to create a matching hood. Which was a great pleasure! As you can see from the photos. What a beautiful kitchen! So honored to have Jim’s craft included in the new space. From the comments below. I believe they are pleased.

Copper Range Hood Sleek-Deerborn : Created to the design of the Deerborn. This range hood has a sleek design smooth body and base. While the Deerborn is heavy hammered and fired to a medium antique copper. This range hood has a sleek design smooth body and base. And is fired to a light antique patina. Unlike the Deerborn with blackened bar and rivets. This hood has a detail of needle hammered inlay at the center and the crown. Basically the same design. But what a difference in appearance! It was such a joy working with our clients on this kitchen. The Copper Counter-Top Hand-Hammered and fired to a antique copper is just the beginning. Along with the integrated bar sink and cut out for the stove top. The passover is enhanced with needle hammered inlay and copper rivets. The double equal copper undermount copper kitchen sink. Just adds more warmth. This may not be the largest kitchen we have created for. But it certainly is one of the warmest! Add the beautiful copper with the warmth of the folks who live there. Burnt-Fork Steel Range-Hood : We are so excited to now be working with a new material. Cold rolled steel. Burnt-Fork Steel Range-Hood a beautiful wall mount range hood. Hand Crafted using .063 cold rolled steel. With welded construction. The body of this hood is acid blackened steel. A hand hammered inlay is added to the base. Pull this all together with the blacked steel bar and rivets. The lives of the homeowners were the main consideration. When crafting this hood. Working together with them. Jim was able to craft this amazing piece for their new home. Quality craftsmanship and material. With unbelievable attention to detail. That is what you can expect from Mountain Copper Creations.

Zinc Hammered-brass Holland Range-Hood : By using the same design. As the Copper Range Hood Holland. With only a material change. A completely different look is achieved! The contrasting hand hammered brass bar. Is a perfect fit for the smooth zinc body. Which has been antiqued with medium patina. While the zinc rivets on the bar pull it all together. Creating a beautiful, functional addition to this kitchen. As this Zinc Hammered-brass Holland Range-Hood is shown as a wall mount. You’ll notice the brass bar. Which goes all the way to the back of the hood base. This space will be open. And seen with window on each side. Unlike the Copper Range Hood Holland. Which the bar stops on each side. Allowing for cabinets. Vent systems are included in all of out range hoods.
This was such a fun project! We worked with a young family (whose kids I fell in love with!) I hope they enjoy their new hood as much as we enjoyed working with them.

Jim and I at Mountain Copper Creations urge everyone to follow the CDC recommendations to stay safe and well. As we are all as a nation facing this devastating outbreak. We all need to do our part for the wellness of all of our families, friends and nation. If we all work together we can achieve more that we thought possible! Please remember to thank and pray for all the hero’s among us who are working selflessly . Grocery store personnel, mail carriers, postal workers.
