Living with the cycles °

We're grateful for the beautiful people who came out to our garden 101 class with the theme of soil preparation in the winter, with deep attention to the teachings of Nana George Washington Carver

We even had the opportunity to make some seeding mix for the greenhouse joy

The biggest takeaway: when you place people and things in the space of living and growing according to their nature, they will absolutely flourish

Volunteers typically engage in a variety of tasks, such as:
🌱 Planting: Adding flowers, vegetables, or other plants to garden beds.

🌱 Harvesting: Collecting ripe produce if it’s a working garden.
🌱 Mulching and Composting: Improving soil health and garden maintenance.
🌱 Building or Repairing: Assembling garden structures like trellises or raised beds.

What to Bring and Wear:
👩🏾‍🌾 Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing you don’t mind getting dirty.
🧑🏾‍🌾 Sturdy shoes suitable for outdoor work.

a sketch that looks like a child's hand....but far from child's play. A natural water purification system...3 stages.....using grass as the first filter, sand as the second and charcoal as the final. Simple tepee built of sticks from the yard. Filtration materials (grass, sand and charcoal) placed in cheesecloth. Catch with a pot or other utensil and then boil....something to vibe on in case the need ever arises ✨💜
