Last week, a couple of our team members had the opportunity to attend drilling school with GEFCO in Conroe, Texas—and it did not disappoint.
The course was led by experienced professors from Fleming College, bringing a wealth of real-world knowledge and technical expertise. Training covered a wide range of topics including fluid rotary drilling, air rotary drilling, uphole velocity, and much more.
What stood out most was the depth of knowledge shared—not only from the instructors, but also from fellow students who brought years of hands-on experience to the table. It’s a great reminder that no matter how long you’ve been in the field, there’s always something new to learn—whether it’s picking up valuable tips and tricks or refining the proper way to do things.
This is a highly recommended course for anyone in the drilling industry. We’ve been sending team members for years and will continue to do so. With two classes offered annually, it’s definitely worth checking out.

Today the Parratt Wolff NY crew powered through high winds 🌬️ and the occasional snow squall ❄️, all while working against a truly picturesque backdrop—when we could actually see it ⛰️👀.
It was a cold 🥶, windy, and snowy day up on the hill, but the crew stayed locked in, pushed through, and we're getting it done 💪🚧.

(I didn't get pictures of the other three crews working hard with one of our CME 850Xs and our 550X. I'm sure I'll hear about it 😆)

Parratt-Wolff recently held our annual Managers Meeting, taking time to reflect on a strong and successful 2025 and to align our goals for an even better 2026 ahead.
We’re proud of what we accomplished this past year and optimistic about the opportunities in front of us. Continued success comes from teamwork—dedicated drill crews in the field, supportive families and friends at home, and the trust of our clients.

Cold snap or not, the work gets done. ❄️

While temperatures dropped, Parratt-Wolff crews stayed on the rigs—drilling through frozen ground with the same focus on safety, precision, and getting it done right. Cold weather means tougher conditions, but it also shows what our teams are made of.

“Axe” Parratt-Wolff if they’re ready to kick off another year of growth.

Our North Carolina team recently completed their annual training for:
• First Aid
• Utility Locate
• Skid Steer Operation
• (Virtual Reality!) Fire Extinguisher Training

We rolled out some new uniforms, shared a steak dinner and finished the day with some axe throwing—because strong teams are built through preparation and connection.

We’re proud of the work we put in, the standards we hold and the future we’re building together.

This Christmas season, we want to pause and recognize what truly keeps Parratt Wolff moving forward—our people.

Our crews spend much of the year on the road, away from home, traveling long hours and working through tough conditions to deliver quality work. This time off is well deserved—a chance to step away from the job sites, spend meaningful time with family and friends, and recharge after a demanding year.

We also want to sincerely thank our employees for making this the best year Parratt Wolff has ever had. Your hard work, professionalism, and commitment to doing things the right way drove our success. Even more importantly, we are incredibly proud to have achieved a zero-OSHA recordable, a true testament to our team’s focus on safety and looking out for one another every single day.
