Dear homeowners,
I will speak for all contractors. Everywhere. (Unofficially, of course)
We only have 2 seasons:
1. Busy
2. Unbelievably busy
It’s busy season now. Our leads times are the smallest they’ll be all year. We have time to estimate your projects. Heck, we even have time to sit at your kitchen table w you and have a cup of coffee and discuss your project. The work flow is manageable.
This is also the time of the year when we get to reconnect w our families and rest up. Heal our bodies and minds.
When the snow melts and spring arrives, our lives become crazy(unbelievably busy season). Our call volume is 7x higher. Our days are 2x longer. We try to make everyone happy. Everyday. All the time. And we only have so many hours in the day.
Owning a contracting business gives you the feeling that all of this can go away at any time. So we don’t take your interest in our services lightly. We break ourselves to do the finest craftwork and run dignified, honest businesses. And answer every call for our services.
Why do I write this? We’re not asking you (the homeowner) for anything but to know these things:
1. We appreciate the heck out of you and your trust
2. You don’t owe us anything. That’s not how we operate.
3. Be patient with us, if you’re able. Especially in the unbelievably busy season.
4. Now is the best time of the year for your home project. Period. Or at least to get your estimate.
