Is a sunken driveway panel causing a tripping hazard or scraping your car? This driveway had settled because of a failing base beneath the concrete. We removed the damaged panel, rebuilt the base the right way, and installed a new concrete panel leaving the homeowner with a safe, level driveway.

We had the opportunity to install this new barndominium driveway and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

Pouring concrete in the Oklahoma summer heat takes more than just showing up. Using the right mix design, admixtures, and properly cooled water helps ensure the concrete is set up for success through the whole process.

If you’re planning a new driveway, patio, shop, or foundation, we’d love the opportunity to earn your business.

This panel was causing issues for our homeowner. It wasn’t smooth to drive on, it was a trip hazard, and didn’t reflect the time and care they put into their home.

We came in, tore it out, put in a proper base, and poured something that they won’t have to worry about again.

Wrapped up this patio extension.

The homeowners wanted a little more room for their patio furniture and to enjoy the backyard, so we tied this new section into the existing patio and got them taken care of.

Simple project, but it’s going to make a big difference in how they use the space.

Do you see what we see?

Today we removed an old driveway and found something we see far too often: no rebar and no wire mesh reinforcement anywhere in the slab.

Many homeowners don’t realize that what is underneath the concrete is just as important as the concrete itself.

While reinforcement won’t prevent every crack, it helps hold the slab together, improves durability, and can significantly reduce the effects of settling, heavy vehicle traffic, and normal ground movement over time.

When we tear out failing driveways, a lack of reinforcement is one of the most common issues we find.

It’s a reminder that the lowest bid isn’t always the best value. Proper site prep, base work, thickness, and reinforcement all play a major role in how long a driveway lasts.

If you’re considering a new driveway, we’d be happy to explain exactly what goes into ours and why.
