A simple hose bib replacement turned into a hidden copper pipe break inside the wall 😳🚨

The homeowner removed the old hose bib, installed a new one, and tightened it too much. The copper pipe behind the wall snapped, leaving the hose bib on the ground and water leaking inside the house.

We had to open the drywall from inside, cut out the damaged copper, install new copper pipe, and install a new hose bib. 💪🔧

Most importantly, we checked everything and made sure there were NO MORE LEAKS. 💦✅

⚠️ Overtightening a hose bib can turn a simple repair into a much bigger plumbing problem. If that broken pipe had continued leaking inside the wall, it could have caused water damage, mold, and a much more expensive repair.

💩 ¡SE TAPÓ LA LÍNEA PRINCIPAL! ¡Y SALIÓ TODO! 💦

Abrimos el clean out y de repente salió agua y aguas negras por todos lados. 😳💩

Sacamos la máquina de drenaje y metimos la serpiente para destapar la línea. Una vez abierta, dejamos correr el agua con la manguera a todo lo que daba para limpiar y comprobar que el agua estuviera corriendo bien. 🚿
