We often hear, it is something we have always wanted to do but we should have had the garage floor coated and protected when we moved in and now we have too much stuff to empty out. With a mobile storage unit/POD makes for a great place to store your belongings for the project and also having the ability to paint the garage walls and ceiling afterwards before bringing everything back in. We also hear it didn’t take nearly as long as they thought to empty garage.
On this project we had a moderate amount of spalling and oil saturation to correct before applying our coatings.

Been a popular year for basement flooding, lots of carpet and LVP being tossed away and Garage FX flooring being applied. Carpet and LVP need a v***r barrier underpayment when going over concrete which traps moisture creating the perfect environment for mold.

We went with our moisture V***r barrier, full 1” premium brindle garnet flake, and our ultra high solids Polyaspartic top coat. Perfect floor for easy clean up for when the grand kids come over and play.

Having a precast geo thermal garage floor with a basement below, has been loosing the battle with spalled concrete the past few years. Was time to look at protecting the concrete before the unthinkable thought of replacing the floor.

For overkill after spall repair, we went with our FX 106 industrial primer, cappuccino flakes and a double Polyaspartic to coat for the ultimate in top down protection.
