This one was a long job with multiple projects. The inlet pipe to the pond was rusted through and water was flowing mostly around the pipe to the pond. You couldn’t walk through the grass it was so soft. I cleared the brush for access to the upper silted in ditch, removed the pipe, cleaned the ditch and let it sit a while to firm up. Once everything dried up I returned to build a foot bridge over the ditch. Next was a fountain for the pond. I installed about 200’ of underground electric to supply the new fountain. I also installed a new sub panel, the control panel for the fountain and a few GFCI outlets at the pond fire pit/gazebo area. After all the electrical work was completed the fountain was installed in the pond. This fountain is so cool at night. I added some pictures of the lawn and landscaping to show how clean the property was kept during the electric install. The customer didn’t want to have a mess as he was having a little family reunion shortly after all the work was completed. I pulled all the mulch, limestone, and rocks out of the landscaping dug in the electric and replaced it all. I also stripped out all the sod from the lawn set it aside, placed it back and rolled it in so it looks as if no one had worked there. I then turned my attention to some drain and runoff issues. With all our spring rain the driveway had multiple runoff issues and limestone that had washed away. I dug those out put in some larger stone that would hold and top dressed with limestone. I had to fix a sinkhole at the pond dock. I fixed the drain, removed all the pavers in the problem area, installed a new bulkhead, tamped new backfill and laid the pavers back. To finish off all the work I lined the upper driveway with some unused boulders/rocks the customer wanted to put on the corner of the driveway. It looks great and helps divert some runoff water.
