I just wanted to share a great tip I discovered this week. If anyone home brews their own kombucha .....bucha vinegar is the BEST cleaner for the tower gardens I have found so far! Especially for all the stubborn calcium/nutrient build up that always happens on the baskets. I have never been able to completely get thay stuff off in the 5 years I've had them until now. I'm sure apple cider vinegar would work the same but bucha is super cheap to make in abundance. I just soaked the baskets in bucha for 2 days and it completely took at that stuff off, no scrubbing at all. Just a quick rinse with the hose and they looked brand new. Plus, bucha will sterilize which is helpful for controlling disease and mold.
