Today I had the opportunity to attend Day 1 of the Global Leadership Summit.

One of the biggest investments you can make as a business owner isn't another piece of equipment, another advertisement, or another customer.

It's investing in yourself.

The better I become as a leader, the better I can serve my team, my customers and the people who trust us with their properties.

There's always another skill to learn, another perspective to consider and another area where I can improve.

Being a business owner means constantly working on yourself while you're working on the business.

Today was Day 1.

We're not looking for just anyone—we're looking for dependable people who take pride in showing up, working hard, communicating well, and following through.

As our schedule continues to fill with landscaping, mowing, property maintenance, and storm cleanup projects, we're looking to connect with a few reliable individuals to help support our growing workload.

This is a great fit for someone who:

✅ Shows up when they say they will
✅ Communicates professionally and promptly
✅ Has a strong work ethic and positive attitude
✅ Can work independently with minimal supervision
✅ Takes ownership of their responsibilities
✅ Enjoys working outdoors and staying active
✅ Is willing to learn and take direction
✅ Takes pride in doing quality work

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in landscaping, mowing, property maintenance, equipment operation, or general labor
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions
• Experience operating commercial landscaping equipment is a plus
• Availability for occasional weekends or storm-related cleanup work is a plus

We're not necessarily looking to fill a full-time position immediately. Instead, we're looking to build a roster of dependable people we can call when workload increases and additional help is needed.

High winds brought down trees, limbs, and debris, blocking the main drive and creating challenges for daily operations. Our crew stepped in to cut, remove, and haul away multiple dump trailer loads of material, restoring safe and easy access to the property.

Loads of debris.
One very happy customer.

This project was a lot of work, but the end result completely changed the look of the property. We were able to clean things up, improve curb appeal, and create a landscape that's much easier to maintain moving forward.
