About 40% of all traffic accidents happen at intersections. Maryland’s roads and communities are constantly changing, and sometimes that means an intersection needs a new traffic signal to help everyone travel more safely.

Reasons we love directional boring to install utilities:

-We don’t have to dig large disruptive trenches, like the one pictured here
-There’s no surface damage to sidewalks, lawns, landscaping, and roads
-It’s eco-friendly: prevents severe soil erosion, and allows us to protect natural habitats
-Underground utilities are more durable than above-ground

At Baldwin Line, we believe Maryland’s infrastructure should work for everyone. As well as installing crosswalks designed for those with sight impairments, we are also proud to install handicap ramps where they’re needed most. A lot goes into designing a proper ramp. It needs to be the right grade, otherwise it will be too steep for wheelchair users to navigate safely.

We take everything into consideration when designing Marylander’s future. From start to finish, our community is always on our minds.

At Baldwin Line, we’re doing more than installing and maintaining traffic signals to keep traffic moving. By installing Intelligent Transportation Systems, we can help monitor traffic, improve safety, and reduce congestion in the areas where it’s needed most.

You’ve most likely passed our systems on Maryland highways without even realizing it! Intelligent Transportation Systems include embedded road loops, CCTV cameras, and radar capture real-time traffic volume and speed.
