✨ Ceiling Remodel Transformation! ✨

This room started with an old textured (stucco/popcorn-style) ceiling that made the space feel dated and darker. Instead of simply covering it up, we completely transformed it with a custom ceiling design that adds depth, character, and a high-end finished look.

This completely changed the feel of the room, making it brighter, more open, and full of architectural detail.

It’s amazing what a ceiling remodel can do—it truly becomes the focal point of the entire space.

At first glance, adding a new layer of shingles over an existing roof might seem like a cost-saving solution. But over time, multiple layers can actually create bigger problems.

In this roof, you can see multiple layers of old shingles stacked on top of each other. This can lead to:

🔹 Excessive weight putting unnecessary stress on the home’s structure.
🔹 Hidden damage that can’t be seen or repaired without removing the old material first.
🔹 Trapped moisture, which can lead to rot, mold, and premature roof failure.
🔹 A shorter lifespan for the new shingles due to an uneven installation surface.

💡 Here in Michigan, residential building codes only allow a maximum of two layers of asphalt shingles. If a roof already has two layers, those shingles should be completely removed before installing a new roof. A full tear-off gives contractors the opportunity to inspect the roof decking for hidden damage and ensures the new roofing system has a solid foundation.
