On July 10, we welcomed our daughter Vy (pronounced "Vee"), weighing 3 lb 12 oz (1705 g). After six days in the NICU at Poudre Valley Hospital, she came home to Estes Park weighing 3 lb 12 oz (1710 g). She's healthy, eating well, and already proving to be the calmest little baby. Tram is doing great!

This experience also came with a remarkable full-circle moment. Nearly five years ago, Mia was born at 33 weeks and spent a month in the NICU at Poudre Valley. By pure chance, Vy was cared for in the exact same room where Mia began her own journey.

It's a memory our family won't forget.

Before anything else, we owe our customers an apology.

Communication simply hasn't been good enough this season, and that's on us.

Running a small business means there isn't an office staff behind the scenes. Between the two of us, we're responsible for estimates, billing, scheduling, invoices, phone calls, emails, and everything else that keeps EVTC moving. We haven't done a good enough job keeping that side of the business running, and we know many of you have been waiting longer than you should have.
The truth is, we honestly don't know who we haven't gotten back to. If you're one of those people, we'd really appreciate it if you'd reach out again. It isn't because your project wasn't important—we simply haven't kept up, and that's our responsibility.

The reality is that every estimate, every project, and every invoice matters. They allow us to support our family, provide for our employees and their families, and continue serving this community. We never want anyone to feel like their project isn't important to us, because it truly is.
If you've worked with us before, you probably know we're better with equipment and chainsaws than we are with emails and keyboards. We take tremendous pride in every project we take on, and that commitment hasn't changed. We just need a little time to get the communication side caught back up.

If you have an outstanding estimate, a project waiting to be scheduled, an invoice question, or you're simply wondering where things stand, please don't hesitate to reach out again. We'd much rather hear from you twice than leave you wondering.

Thank you for your patience, your understanding, and for continuing to support our small family business.

We'd also like to thank the physicians, nurses, and everyone at Poudre Valley Hospital's NICU. The care they provide to families during some of life's most uncertain moments is extraordinary, and we're incredibly grateful for everything they did for Vy and our family.

We're looking forward to introducing little Vy to many of you in the months ahead.

A very special EVTC update... ❤️
Over the past couple of months, many of you have noticed I've been a little harder to get ahold of than usual. Thank you all for your patience, understanding, and the grace you've shown our family.
It's been a challenging season for us. During Tram's pregnancy, she experienced some unexpected medical complications that resulted in several weeks in the hospital. Thanks to an incredible medical team, we're so grateful to share that Mom and baby are both healthy and doing great.
We're beyond excited to announce that our newest little family member has arrived, weighing 3 pounds, 12 ounces. She may be tiny, but she's already shown us just how strong she is.
Over the next few weeks, I'll be spending as much time as possible with my family, so my responses may be a little slower than usual. Our crew is still out working every day and taking great care of our customers, and I truly appreciate everyone's patience while we settle into life as a family of four.
Running a family business means our customers become part of our journey, and we're incredibly thankful for the support you've shown us over the years. Your kindness, encouragement, and understanding have meant more than you know.
And perhaps the most excited person of all is big sister Mia. We can't wait to watch these two girls grow up together, make lifelong memories, and keep each other on their toes.
From our family to yours, thank you for your continued support of Estes Valley Tree Care. We truly appreciate every one of you.

The last few days/weeks have been a whirlwind 🌬️🌲

These wind storms have kept our crews cranking nonstop—removing trees off homes and structures, handling storm damage, and pushing hard on a large land-clearing project in Fort Collins.

This is when experience, equipment, and a dialed-in crew really matter. Huge thanks to our guys for working safely and efficiently in some wild conditions.

If you’ve got storm-damaged trees, leaning hazards, or need professional help after this wind, Estes Valley Tree Care LLC is here.
