Great week. Stamped and colored cap finished over a 20ft wide and 70ft deep well, a generator slab and prep started on some residential in town for next week along with some long feed bunk as well. Have a good weekend ✌️ 💯

We love to see the end result of a project. A customer just sent us this tank battery picture now that they have everything set up. The project looked large when we completed it but now those tanks definitely fill it out. ✌️💯

A nice change of pace this week transitioning back to some smalls. Big jobs definitely pay the bills but theyll wear out a crew of 4 eventually. A nice walkout patio, a stamped patio addition and the initial prep of a stamped roundabout. We also viewed quite a few jobs this week to bid and locked in a few as well. Have a good weekend ✌️ 💯

Going ahead and making the weekly roundup post now because its EurekaPro Rodeo weekend. Come on out Friday and Saturday and support this great event. We poured a 90 yd project and a 1 yard project this week. We do them big and small. All projects matter. A second week of returning customers as well, big ole slab with walls and a pad for a generator and condenser unit. Returning customers comprise a significant portion of our work and we strive to make a new customer a returning customer every time. Have a good weekend and come to the rodeo. ✌️💯

Just wanted to give a shout out to Scott McKeen and Doug Alexander. Two guys who every week and most days make our jobs possible and much less stressful. Doug is a crazy good batch man who truly cares. He wants to run as much high quality concrete as he can every day, a guy that you can talk to about mixes and how they act in certain conditions. Not just a button puncher but a true batch man with three plants he runs. I sure wish someone wanted a batch job in eldorado so we could get Doug back to the Eureka plant full time. Anyone who does this knows your batch man can make you or break you, especially with consistency between loads and knowledge of the reaction and set time. Scott is one of the best drivers to bring concrete to our sites. This picture is of 2ft walls poured in 101 degrees. When Scott pulls up we know we have a driver that is going to get the concrete where it needs to be without dumping and jerking all over the place, a smooth pour everytime. Anyone who has poured small walls knows the difficulty in driving while pouring an 8" thick wall continously without stops and locks or overpours. That's not to say there aren't other great drivers, there definitely are but his consistency over the last 5 or so years that hes brought concrete to us has always been impressive. His experience, attention to detail and consideration are appreciated probably more than he knows. The difference in a good and bad day in concrete rests on the shoulders of people like mentioned above. Our little crew poured over 200 yds in the last couple weeks of some of the most consistent and good concrete you could ask for in not so great temps and conditions. All the pics of completed projects we post are made possible in large part to men and women who run the plants and drive the trucks and operate with pride on the daily. Often unnoticed at times but definitely integral to the progress you see. So to all who do the jobs that many may not know exist. Thanks for what you do. 💯✌️

Our first borns last day at work with dad. Hes headed to college on Thursday at ESU to start his next adventure. Hes worked summers for 3 years with us and the last day couldn't have been better. 60 yds down, 2850 sq ft poured and finished in 4 hrs. Good luck bud!

Crazy week once again beating the rain. The crew managed to form and pour a 2ft thick wall, with buttresses, angles and a stamped top in a day and half. We let her sit and headed north to the opposite end of the county to form a large slab and managed to get strip footings trenched, barred, and poured. Rough grade established before the rain, which will definitely help solid that base up good. We'll be putting walls on this large slab as well. Just when we split up Friday during the rain to view jobs and do bids and refit a call came in for a tear out to let thrasher come in for a foundation stabilization. A tough tear out, thick, with rebar up against brick and on my most hated base....sand. 3 hot saws, forks, pry bars and a big o jackhammer got the job done as we pushed into overtime on that wet Friday. It is likely once the stabilization is done we will pour a cool stamped patio back in its place. Have a great weekend ✌️ 💯

Had to make this its own post aside from the Saturday weekly. We've done probably 3 dozen low water crossing caps, replacements, repairs, wall additions, and approaches but this one wasn't just about functionality. This crossing has washed out for 30 years, rock in rock out and repeat. The owner is hoping this wall holds the rock back and reduces the washouts. From the thickness to the stamped top, family brand, and buttresses this was a fun project. A ton of work with constant water flow to mitigate, weather watching and timing made for a stressful schedule but shes in and hell for stout. We have another wall job right after this one and another stamped face and top color wall job in the near future that will make for some awesome pics as well. A lot of jobs for return customers back to back and each one is really letting us have some freedom in design.
