Sporadic forecasts and rain slowed us down this week but we managed to get one job knocked out and off the list. Have a good memorial weekend. ✌️💯

Almost forgot to post. Busy week up north and down south. Poured a sidewalk and border for some great returning customers to begin the week and headed south. Demoed some wood and shrubbery and prepped a sidewalk and patio to get a jump on next week. Have a good weekend. Graduation day for our oldest boy must mean im getting old.... ✌️💯 🎓

Met with a returning customer to bid more work and received a text from another customer today. Its always cool to see what is built on our concrete and is rewarding to see the end result.💯✌️

We've had a lot things walk in our wet concrete. Cats, dogs, chickens, goats, people, deer, coyotes, raccoons and I'm probably forgetting others but I think this is our first turtle. Never know what's gonna come out and say hey that looks like a good path to take!

All over the place this week. 3 trips to the lake, out east, down south and at the country club. Patio pour, squeeze chute place and finish for a returning customer, propane pad precast set for a returning customer, gravel deliveries and driveway grading for multiple returning customers and a pea gravel delivery to top it off, plus a well cap poured as well. Poured some 8+" thick paving for the coop on a turn key job this week and fit in a color and stone stamp place and finish for a fellow contractor who had the pour already prepped. ✌️💯

In addition to the emergency crossing repair this week we also finished up a decent patio from the week prior and poured a slab for the urine station at the racetrack where a prefab building will be delivered to store urine samples. We also built and tamped a base for a portable guard/entry shack at the entrance as well. Tyler did some on site welding to complete the handrail portion as well as some shop repairs since we seem really good at tearing our stuff up. Have a good weekend ✌️ 💯.

Q and 330th is back open. We got a call on Saturday about a failure at a low water crossing right in the middle of shipping season. Cattle haulers running dirt daily with big loads and one of the main routes was found to be hollow. Luckily we secured the first 10 yds Monday to stabilize the footing/toe wall after our normal days work. We couldn't get the next 10 yds until Wednesday but it was enough and we made it to complete fill level with some extra to slurry the upstream around the whistle. 80,000 lbs of concrete used to stabilize this existing crossing with a 4 day turn around from closure to reopening in time for weekend shipping. Its not pretty by any means but it won't collapse. These are the things many dont see or think about. A voided crossing on the brink of failure unnoticed until a citizen or road and bridge identifies a hole that leads to more exploration. In this case the void was over 4ft x 4ft x 20ft on both sides of the tin whistle. Undermined footing and a very weak deck. I was actually pretty nervous with our machines weight on it while jack hammering. Anyway, shes back open and ready with a pile of concrete ensuring it won't collapse.

Awesome week. Poured some steps at an ongoing site but rain held us up from finishing the job. So we moved to another site for a great returning customer to pour an approach with multiple transitions, a sign embed mount, some infills, and a shop strip for garage doors. Also started some prep at the racetrack for an upcoming job there as well. Have a good weekend. ✌️💯

Over 16,000lbs of rebar #4 and #5 on the racks. Summer chemical and release delivered for jobs down the road. We heard increases were coming. This is one way we save our customers money. Buying in bulk ahead of increases to keep our bid the same as the final price. We strive to bill exactly what our estimate was unless substantial additions are added by the customer. No surprises or fine print. No games. It requires significant investment and capital at times but buying by the job only benefits the middle men and reduces efficiency considerably. ✌️
