Extreme frigid temperatures are predicted for our area over the next few days. Take some time to prepare today to prevent frozen pipes in the future.
Quick tips include:
- Open cabinet and vanity doors to allow warm air to circulate around pipes
- Let a trickle of water drip from the faucet
- Be sure the area where your water meter is located is heated
- Keep your thermostat set at a minimum of 55 degrees, even if you are away
