The newest challenge. In an older renovation a client inquired of what could be done to chance the appearance of a built in wooden ironing board closet. I made a suggestion of giving it the appearance of drywall to blend it in with the surrounding walls. With the process of smoking the surface we will transform the woods surface. Stay tuned for the final results of our experiment.

It may look simple to most to finish Sheetrock, but as the pictures show when you are inexperienced at it and pile mud on a wall it can be a complete disaster. This room had to be sanded for almost an hour and then touched up before the sought after results could be attained. Moral of the story, call the pros the first time and save time, money, and gripes from a dissatisfied spouse.
