Short story on business ethics...

We went to quote a repeat customer today. They wanted their fence and deck re-stained. The fence was several years past due. The deck, not so much. But she wanted it to look crisp again.

We could have just re-stained it. But instead, we offered ways to bring it back to that great color that it was before, without the cost of a re-stain.

Sure, we have to make money to stay in business. But we think doing the right thing every time is a better marketing tool than just getting the most profit from every customer.

If we're honest with you, and do everything the same way we would our own family, then we can sleep well.

Stripper and sandpaper wouldn’t touch it, so we had to break out the diamond disk on the grinder to get it cleaned up properly. These photos show the progress after days of sanding.
