Right now in South Alabama (late winter into early spring) is actually a prime season for a lot of landscaping work because plants are waking up soon, but the heat stress hasn’t hit yet.
Here’s what’s best to focus on this time of year:

🌿 1. Bed Cleanups + Mulching (Top Priority)
✅ Cut back dead perennials
✅ Pull winter weeds
✅ Edge beds
✅ Add fresh mulch (2–3")
This is one of the best seasonal upgrades because it makes everything look sharp and helps suppress weeds before spring explodes.
