Welcome the newest member to Warren Built Plumbing LLC “ Lil Rippa “ . Rippa R10 powered by the Z482 Kubota Diesel. I have operated every main stream brand of excavators, Kubota, John Deere, Komatsu, Bobcat , and everything in between. This will be my first time running one of these budget machines. So far pretty impressed with the build quality. Obviously will not have all the bells and whistles of the more expensive brands. As I use this Machine for Plumbing Jobs and working our land, I will give an Honest review of the pros and cons that I find along the way. Day 1 starts tomorrow, she is sitting on 2 working hours as she sits right now. Let’s hope for many more hours to come.

With the Winter Weather approaching, now is the time to prepare for the freezing temperatures. Honestly can’t believe I’m having this conversation, lol. Here are a few tips to try an avoid frozen or broken pipes.
1) The hose bibs on the side of your homes or shop building, be sure and disconnect any garden hoses and use freeze covers.
2) Any homes on Crawl Spaces, Close your vents .
3) Any of your plumbing fixtures on exterior walls are more vulnerable, not a bad idea to leave a slight drip.
4) Homes that have water supplied by a Well, a heat lamp or heat tape will help avoid freezing.
5) Homes on Pilings, pipe insulation and anything you can do to block the wind / cold temperatures will help.
If you do have frozen pipes, PEX pipe is more forgiving than PVC, CPVC, or even copper. Just be very careful if you do decide to try and thaw them. A Hair dryer / Heat gun is far safer than an Open flame from a portable torch. I hope everyone stays safe and warm.

This is how we want every client to feel when we leave the Job.
I had a Boss when I was younger that would say “ If you can’t find time to do right the first time, how are you going to find time to do it again “
And that always stuck with me. Obviously mistakes can happen, but cutting corners should not be one of them.
