Shelbyville Amphitheater Progress Update

Construction continues to move forward on the new Shelbyville Amphitheater as crews advance site grading, underground utility installation, storm drainage infrastructure, and preparation for upcoming phases of construction.

This project will create a new community gathering space designed to host concerts, events, and recreational activities while enhancing one of Shelbyville's premier public destinations.

HIS Constructors is proud to partner with the City of Shelbyville on this exciting project and looks forward to bringing the vision to life for residents and visitors alike.

Project Spotlight: Tippecanoe County Bridge No. 53

HIS Constructors is proud to be part of the replacement of Tippecanoe County Bridge. This project will improve safety, reliability, and long-term infrastructure for the traveling public while providing a modern structure designed to serve the community for decades to come.

Project Spotlight: Mitthoefer Road over Bells Run

This project involved the replacement of the Mitthoefer Road bridge over Bells Run in Indianapolis, improving safety, reliability, and long-term performance for the traveling public.

The work included construction of a new reinforced concrete bridge, roadway and drainage improvements, upgraded pedestrian facilities, and extensive coordination with multiple utility providers. Through phased construction, pedestrian access was maintained while critical infrastructure improvements were completed along this busy corridor.

Projects like this help strengthen the transportation network and support safer travel for the communities we serve.

Proud to be part of a project that is helping shape one of the main gateways into City of Shelbyville - Government. The new “Welcome to Shelbyville” monument sign is another major milestone in the North Riley Highway Gateway Project, which continues to enhance infrastructure, traffic flow, pedestrian accessibility, and community identity throughout the corridor.

We appreciate the opportunity to work alongside the City of Shelbyville, Runnebohm Construction, Green Sign Company, HWC Engineering, and all project partners helping bring this vision to life.

The first completed roundabout feature on the North Riley Highway Gateway Project is now standing tall — featuring our new “Welcome to Shelbyville” monument sign, community branding, and a subtle design nod to our sister city relationship with Shizuoka, Japan through the flowing blue elements inspired by water and connection.

This project represents more than infrastructure. It represents identity, investment, and pride in where we are headed as a community.
