TIP TIME! Nothing like an emergency repair to make us get up and start moving. My back is bothering me today so I had NO plans for anything today, but when you step up to the sink and realize water is all over the floor plans change. I’ll deal with the repair tomorrow but the water needs to be shut off immediately. Can you shut off your valves if you need to?

Yep I’m still here and still at it. HVAC work has kept me busy and I’ve spent a little time working on a couple houses. Busy is what keeps be going strong. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Phase 2 COMPLETE! It’s cut, now … let’s see about getting it up.

It’s a process for sure and the heat is not making this easy. I had to break this into Phases.
Otherwise you get disillusioned and discouraged when task take so much more effort than you expected. Every big project is made up of many little projects.

Since this is something I’m learning along the way , cutting this paper it’s a task all by itself.
I know somebody is going to say I’m wasting paper but I’d rather waste the paper than have a seam to risk water going behind the barrier. I got it cut so now let’s get it cut to size.

Just getting this cut is a task all by itself. I don’t want a seam so I’m rolling it out lengthwise to cut out my triangle. The sun has popped over the trees so it’s time to put a pin in this one and hang tight till the sun moves. And just when I had help holding my paper down. 😂

Ok, this is really two seperate task. Getting it measured and cut is Task #2, if and when I get it up 😂 we’ll count that as task #3. Never done this one before so I’ll learn along the way.

I have a laundry list of task. The extreme heat has slowed me Dian for sure. Since I donHVAC work, that has been keeping me so busy I don’t have much time for any other projects. But I’m feeling like I’m having withdrawals. 😂 So today I’m planning to get a few things accomplished despite the heat.

A nice cold glass of wine would be perfect right now. Except I left it in the freezer too long and it froze solid and even pushed out the cork. 😂 Man, it’s been a week!!!
