Our team transformed this hospitality property from advanced surface wear and widespread granule depletion to a premium, weather-ready setup engineered to protect guests and operations for decades.

The extensive upgrade included an overhaul of the main shingle roof using premium CertainTeed Landmark Pro 50-Year Architectural Shingles.

We also installed a beautiful new 26-gauge Slate Grey Standing Seam metal roof across the property's accents.

On the low-slope sections, our crew completely tore off and reinstalled the new 60 mil TPO membrane with a fresh tapered insulation layout for the Porte Cochere.

WNC Roofing recently completed a large-scale commercial roofing project at the historic Judson Mill Phase II property in Greenville, SC.

Working alongside Caldwell Constructors, our team installed a multi-system roofing package designed to improve drainage, durability, energy efficiency, and long-term roof performance across the property.

The project included:

🔵 Full tear-off down to the wood decking
🔵 New tongue-and-groove decking installed
🔵 Heavy timber beam replacement
🔵 Two layers of polyiso insulation for an R-20 LTTR (long-term thermal resistance)
🔵 Grey Carlisle 60 mil TPO roofing
🔵 Standing seam metal roofing
🔵 Tapered insulation and drainage corrections
🔵 Custom coping, edge metal, gutters, and downspouts
🔵 Rooftop amenity waterproofing system

One of the biggest parts of this project was correcting drainage issues caused by negative slope areas and ponding water. Our team installed tapered insulation and crickets to help move water toward drains and improve long-term roof performance.

Projects like Judson Mill require planning, coordination, and attention to detail from start to finish. We are proud to help preserve and protect a historic property with roofing systems built for long-term performance and reliability.
