Our hearts are heavy as we grieve the loss of Morgan Alexandar Julian, a dear friend and a valued part of the rodeo community.

Morgan was the kind of person who left a mark on everyone who knew him — as a rider, judge, mentor, friend, partner, and father. His passing is a heartbreaking loss, and we are grieving alongside his family, friends, and the entire rodeo community.

A memorial fundraiser will be held Saturday, June 20th at The Roadrunner to honor Morgan’s life and help support Kirstin and their young children. We encourage anyone who is able to attend, donate, or simply show support to please do so.

Please keep Morgan’s family in your prayers as they walk through this unimaginable loss. His legacy will not be forgotten.

Another season in the books!

More times than we could count this season, we were reminded exactly why we have dedicated our lives to this business. What stood out to us most was the character of these kids.

Without hesitation, these young men and women jumped in to lend gear, coach, encourage, and cheer on first-time riders they had never even met. Rodeo kids are built different across the board, but our riders at HFF made us especially proud of our hometown. They were brave, giving, polite, compassionate, and hardworking. They stepped up when help was needed and always treated our animals with respect.

The goal of Chapman Livestock has never been just to help kids get their start so they can one day become professional bull riders. It is also to help parents shape strong, capable adults by giving kids the chance to push beyond their comfort zones, handle pressure, face failure, work through pain, celebrate success, and find a real sense of community.

We all owe the biggest thank you to Historic Florence Foundation, Inc. board and their volunteers. They put in countless hours of work year-round to help ensure the future of the Charles Whitlow Arena and to keep bringing great events to our community. Their dedication does not go unnoticed, and we are grateful to be part of what they are building.

So, more than anything, we want to say a sincere thank you.

Thank you to the parents who bring your kids out to ride with us and for raising them with values that are so needed today.

Thank you to the kids for showing up with pride, grit, and maturity.

Thank you to all the Chapman Livestock volunteers who showed up, donated your time, and helped make these events run smoothly in the back pens.

Thank you to Historic Florence Foundation for trusting us to be your stock contractor. We're forever grateful for the family you all have welcomed us into.

We will continue to do our best every day to raise the best stock we can, and we will be spending our summer working to put together even more awesome events for next season.

We can’t wait to see you all back in the arena!

Our new steer, Buck Norris, really brought the heat this weekend to the Mile High PBR for the steer riding! He saw how the big bulls get it done and no one told him that he was little. 😆

Great effort Jaxton Garner!
