Freshly paved lot? Don’t paint it yet.

We recommend waiting at least 24 to 48 hours before striping. Asphalt holds heat long after installation, and paint applied too early can sink into the surface instead of sitting on top of it — which means faded lines and repainting far sooner than you’d want.

CDL Class A Dump Truck/ Equipment Transport Driver:

First Coast Asphalt Solutions is a family owned and operated company. We are an ever expanding company and looking for the right individuals to join our family. The Dump Truck Driver position will be required to help in all aspects of our business including; striping, sealcoating, asphalt repairs, grading, signage installation, and asphalt paving duties. 70%-80% will be hauling materials, such as asphalt, millings, dirt, etc. when the truck is not in use, driver will help out one of our crews. Dump truck driver will also be a back up equipment transport driver. First Coast Asphalt Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Duties listed below:
📌 Operate Heavy Haul/ Dump truck and trailer in a safe and courteous manner.
📌 Ensure tractor and trailer are clean and in good working condition.
📌 Must be able to drive a 10speed manual transmission.
📌 Posses mechanical knowledge of assigned equipment.
📌 Perform daily maintenance checks and reports malfunctions to management/mechanics.
📌 Document and communicate repair requests to mechanics.
📌 Constant physical effort, including standing, is required during a regular work shift of at least eight hours per day. Employee must be able to stand for extended periods of time, and to stoop, bend, and crouch as required to perform Key Duties.
📌 Ability to lift and carry, on a frequent basis, at least 50-90 pounds personally, and up to 150 pounds with assistance.
📌 Maintain constant alertness to the multiple concurrent activities of the construction site, including the activities of other employees and contractors, the operation of stationary equipment, and the movement of mobile equipment.
📌 Must pass a pre-employment drug test
📌 Must have a clean criminal background
📌 Must have a clean driving record
📌 Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
📌 Experience in loading and securement of heavy construction machinery, such as excavators, skid steers, paving machines, and rollers.
📌 Valid Driver's License: Class A CDL Florida Driver's License
📌 Current DOT Physical
