An excellent graphic from the US National Weather Service Saint Louis Missouri that explains what it takes to be a blizzard. I'm on holiday break, otherwise I would create my own... so full credit to them for this! STL has never satisified this criteria officially...although it has been close. The "Blizzard of '82" was actually not even a true blizzard. It was bestoyed the honorary title afterwards even though it never met the wind criteria. So I guess it's a "Blizzard Emeritus" Fox2Now
