This kitchen was "L"shaped...............homeowner took those cabinets, & made themselves an island. Patched the big hole in the floor, & refinished the kitchen. Brazilian Cherry floors, finished natural, with oil based poly. Thank you Steve & Lilly, you guys are awesome. Flushing Mi.

So, anyone who knows me, knows I love NASCAR. Any form of stock car racing, I love it. A few people showed up for the Daytona 500, so I threw together a small wager. This little guy won the pot. He is sitting on a red oak floor, stained with a mixture of Bona Provincial & Nutmeg stains, top coated with Bona Traffic waterborne satin finish.

Installation of 3" 4" & 5" American Cherry. Finished natural, with oil based polyurethane, Satin finish. Grand Blanc Mi.

I wish I had more photos of this floor. It is 5" oak stained with a mixture of English Chestnut, & Gunstock satins. Top coated with oil based poly, satin. Very pretty floors. The doors are beautiful. For those of you who do not know what a parlor is..........well, the rich guy in the neighborhood built a funeral home into is own home. I don't know how to explain it any other way. They would open those doors..........roll in the coffin,..............and you would come in the front door, into the Parlor, pay your respects.....then exit the front door. If I am wrong, please somebody set me straight, .....but I think I am close on this. This house was built in the mid 1800's. I love history, & I love the spirits & ghosts that messed with me in the first week of doing these floors. Thank you Jamie, you were incredible to work for. Bancroft, MI
