Duties
Install underground fiber optic cables according to project specifications and safety standards
Use hand tools and mechanical equipment
to dig trenches, lay cables, and secure installations
Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on existing underground cable infrastructure
Document installation processes, test results, and maintenance activities thoroughly for project records
Qualifications
Proven experience in field service or telecommunication cable installation with a focus on underground cabling projects
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate hand tools and mechanical equipment safely and efficiently
Ability to read technical diagrams, blueprints, and mechanical drawings accurately
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting
Valid drivers license.
Able to pass random drug screen.
