One of my favorite parts of the process is selecting materials and finishes. Every cabinet color, countertop, hardware detail, and texture contributes to creating a space that is not only beautiful, but also cohesive, functional, and timeless.

What may seem like simple design choices are actually decisions that help prevent costly changes, installation issues, and unnecessary delays once construction begins.

By the time demolition starts, many of the most important decisions have already been made.

What looks like a simple sink selectionโ€ฆ was actually part of a much bigger design conversation.

The main protagonist of this kitchen was always going to be the appliance selection โ€” especially the white Cafรฉ oven with its warm bronze handles. โœจ

So instead of choosing finishes separately, we created different design proposals for the client where every element was intentionally paired together:sink + faucet + handles + metal finishes.

Each slide in this carousel shows one of the combinations we presented to help visualize how the kitchen could feel as a whole before making the final decision.

Because in design, itโ€™s rarely about whether one individual piece is โ€œpretty.โ€Itโ€™s about how every material speaks to the next one.

The goal was to create harmony around the appliances โ€” allowing the warm white tones and bronze details to remain the focal point of the space while everything else complemented the vision in a cohesive and elevated way.

Sometimes the smallest selections are the ones that shape the entire atmosphere of a kitchen.
