Family Farm. ⁣

Did you know that according to the USDA, 97% of farms in the US are family owned? That equates to roughly 2.1 million farms. ⁣

A family farm is so much more than numbers on a paper. It’s fathers and sons- it’s their wives, their kids, their neighbors. It’s bigger than one person. ⁣
⁣
It’s decades of work, and walking across the same land that our grandfathers and great grandfathers farmed. It’s a passion that runs through your blood. It’s in your DNA. ⁣

It’s early mornings and late nights. It’s meals gathered around the tailgate of the pickup instead of the table. It’s faith that the hundreds of thousands of dollars you invest in your crop will yield a profit at harvest (and some years, just praying that you break even). ⁣

Family farms are special- and I’m so proud to play a small part in ours. ⁣

Do you or someone you know enjoy driving around in circles all day? Waving at the same group of guys 20-30 times a day as you pass them? putting on a personal concert in the cab of a truck or having full conversations with yourself? If your lucky you even get a tootsie pop or two a day. If this sounds fun I’ve got the job for you driving a silage truck. Full time, part time, halftime, whatever time I can probably use your help. And if you can’t drive a truck but have some common sense i could use you driving a tractor around in circles in a hay field. Pay based on experience.
