A&I Construction – Contractor Bid Call (Georgia)

A&I Construction is currently accepting bids for FAA-compliant wildlife exclusion fencing on multiple airport and municipal projects across the State of Georgia.

We are seeking experienced fencing contractors and qualified labor crews to be hired per awarded project.

Requirements (No Exceptions):
• Proven experience with FAA-compliant wildlife or airport fencing
• Ability to meet FAA and municipal construction standards
• Active contractor license (as applicable)
• Required insurance (documentation must be submitted and verified)
• Ability to process through E-Verify
• Must maintain compliance with jobsite safety and security protocols

Important Notes:
• Work is awarded per project
• Qualifications and experience will be verified
• Incomplete or unverified submissions will not be considered

One of our favorite customers is about to get one of our favorite roofing systems. We are going to tare off this mod-bit with spray foam and stone to the deck. Then add some GAF ISO and taper boards covered with GAF 60mil TPO 🫶🏼

Our hearts are with everyone across the Caribbean who’ve been impacted by Hurricane Melissa.

For so many of us here at home — especially those who lived through Hurricane Ian, Helene and the other storms that tore through our coasts, these new images hit differently. They bring back that familiar ache.
The smell of rain, the hum of a generator, the silence after the wind. It all comes back.

You may not be in the path this time, but your heart remembers. And that’s okay. It’s part of being human.

💔 The Reality of Recovery

Storms fade from the headlines faster than communities heal.
There are still families in Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas rebuilding from Ian and Helene, waiting on insurance, living in temporary homes, trying to move forward one small step at a time.

And now, as we watch another storm unfold, it can stir up emotions we thought we’d already worked through — the frustration, the exhaustion, the fear of starting over again.

That’s real. It’s part of the process.

🙏 Finding Calm and Staying Grounded

If what you’re seeing feels heavy, take a moment.
Breathe.
You’re not weak — you’re human.

Here’s what helps:
🌿 Acknowledge it. Say, “I’m feeling this.” Sometimes naming it is enough to release it.
💬 Talk to someone who understands. Don’t carry it alone.
📖 Pray or write. Get it out of your head and onto paper.
🕯️ Remember what you’ve already survived. You’ve done hard things before you can do them again.
🤝 Turn emotion into compassion. Check on someone. Help where you can. Give if you’re able.

💡 When Everything Feels Overwhelming

So many people — both here and abroad need help right now.
It can feel like too much. But we’re not called to fix everything.
We’re called to care where we’re able.

You might not be able to rebuild a home in Jamaica or Florida, but you can pray, you can share, you can remind others that storms don’t end when the news stops covering them.

Every act of compassion matters.

🌴 From Florida to Georgia — Building Dreams, Strengthening Roots 🌴

What began as a small, family-run roofing company in Florida has grown into two homes — ORB Roofing Solutions and ORB Roofing & Construction Georgia. With Jake’s decades of field experience and my own passion for quality and customer education, we’ve built ORB into a company known for high standards, craftsmanship, and integrity.

As we expanded our services into Georgia — adding full construction and restoration — we’ve been blessed to meet incredible people who’ve become like family. Among them are Stagger Lee and Lori Lee, whose hearts, faith, and love for community have deeply inspired us. 💛

Their Stagger Lee Music & RV Campground is a place built with love — crafted by their family, using lumber milled from their own land. When Hurricane Helene caused devastating damage, their determination never wavered. ORB Roofing & Construction has been honored to have not only been welcomed by Stagger Lee and his beautiful Wife Lori Lee but to also be assisting them in their journey to rebuild and strengthen their dream, using modern, storm-resilient methods inspired by Florida’s toughest standards. 💪🌪️

Today, their land once again echoes with bluegrass, laughter, and faith — a true testament to resilience, community, and the grace of God. We’re grateful to call the Lees friends and to be a part in restoring something so special. 🎶🌾
