Major progress on removing & replacing the old facia, soffit & brick freeze boards in west Fort Worth. Also adding a front porch to keep rain out of the door.
Two new exterior doors & 8 new windows to arrive tomorrow. Then we remove & replace front siding

Seymour Texas went through a major boom in 1890 and 1891 with one railroad in town and the second one close behind. Here are a few of the many rock commercial buildings that Ferrier brothers and Wirz built in Seymour Texas during that time. There were several rock residences as well.
When the boom went bust after the passing of the Texas alien reform act, many of those buildings were never completed

This is the last load as Heather Ferrier Laminack and Travis Laminack and their two sons move out of their ~1947 Lovell house, Fort Worth Texas. This was a home that the neighbors thought we would tear down and start new. Heather and Travis thoughtfully and thoroughly rebuilt it.

It won the US Dept of Energy & National Assoc of Home Builders Top Energy Efficient Remodel In the nation & Ferrier Builders, Inc recieved their honor of “Remodeler of the Year” for the nation.

They have moved into their remodeled ~1927 home.
