The composting talk at TWU went very well this morning! Nice, small crowd of interested folks who said they learned a lot (which was my goal- to teach somebody something new).

Just before the talk began I saw a hummingbird hanging out next to us in the butterfly garden, so I am positive my mother was there rooting me on. ❤️

Lisa Aschenburg was amazing through the whole process, keeping me highly informed of expectations and directions, and helping out with printing my flyers (pictured below). This has been a truly fulfilling experience for me, and I'm so grateful for the opportunity! I would love to do more things like this in the future. I learned a little bit about myself and preparation techniques through the process, and I know exactly what I would do differently next time.

So thankful for all who showed up today to learn. Everyone was very lovely, and really put me at ease.

Thank you, Richard Siegrist, for standing by me and supporting me even though you didn't feel great today.

Richard has already been invited back this summer to do a bee class for kids! I love the doors that are opening for both of us.

I received a beautiful gift basket from Dr. Bettye Myers on behalf of TWU and the Food Science Department full of awesome swag.
