While we should be supporting small businesses every day, sometimes we all need a little reminder; to buy that candle from a local maker, shop your next vacation outfit from a local boutique, pick up your meat from a neighborhood butcher, find gently loved treasures from resellers, and invest in the businesses that invest right back into our community.

And when you can, support them fully! Skip asking for discounts, pay full price, and leave a tip. It’s not easy running a small business, and every dollar truly makes a difference.

We’re beyond lucky to have such incredible small businesses in our chamber and throughout our town. We may be biased, but McHenry really is the best. ❤️
