Take a look at these before and afters. Most people wold think that this clients husband may have put a grill too close to the siding and melted it. Don't be so fast to judge...

It turns out their neighbor is a huge history nerd and built Archimedes' heat ray... Archimedes is purported to have invented a large scale solar furnace, sometimes described as a heat ray, and used it to burn attacking Roman ships during the Siege of Syracuse (c. 213–212 BC).

That's the story and I'm sticking too it.

So... My 2029 New Years resolution is to do better with "before images" of jobs. Ain't going to lie, I used AI to make the “before image” on this post. Nailed it!

Repeat client. They loved the first closet I installed.

They said: Hey Brad.
I was like: What's up?
They were like: So can we do two more?
I was like: Sure, what you doing next Tuesday.
They were like: Letting you in the front door...

The hardest part of this whole job was all their paint for touchups is in Portugies. Fun Fact: I speak mostly improper English, that's why math and science are my strong sports. Thank goodness for Google translate.

Does your drywall beside your shower have water damage? Well today’s client did. I ended up removing the vanity to get to all the damaged drywall. Patched it up, fixed any other imperfections on this wall because the entire wall was going to get painted.

Pro-move. If you want clean caulk lines. Run some painters tape.

Sticking with my posts of “Transformation Twednesday” and trying to post more furniture that I’ve built.

This is part of a bigger project I did. (Complete porch rehab) I did some built in benches. The wood on top is Sapele. Six storage bins would go in the cubbies, so each family member had a place to put their shoes, in theory. Trying to control the chaos… 😉

Ah yes… springtime. Birds chirping, flowers blooming… and my lawn looking like it lost a fight with a blowtorch.

For those wondering, it’s not a mystery disease… it’s my loving dog.
fun fact: dog p*e is basically nitrogen overload. A little nitrogen = lush, green grass.
Too much nitrogen = 💀 “RIP patch of lawn, you had a good run.”

So here I am… once again…
reseeding the same exact spots…
pretending this is the year I finally outsmart a 4-legged chemical warfare machine.

At this point, I’m not maintaining a lawn…
I’m running a seasonal grass recovery program.

But let’s be honest…
he’s just going to look me dead in the eye and go right back to his favorite spot. 😑

Anyone else in this annual cycle of hope, denial, and grass seed? 😂
