 What a few weeks it’s been with all these Dog-nados .

There was quite a bit of extensive damage in the area and I’m really hoping everybody is safe now  and trying to get back to a normal life.

Quite a bit of cleanup here in Candle Creek as well, but we are looking good now and we wanted to invite you to the Dog Castle open house this Sunday from 2 to 4.

I could make another super long post about as a custom builder and developer how I do my best to build homes for families and how I designed my subdivision to be special blah blah…

But the thing I can’t control is the schools and park district / programs in the area as I build where I have land and where people ask me too.

As a local resident with kids I am extremely impressed with the schools and all our programs as I get myself involved in quite a few things in the area (sometime by choice and others by chance) and felt I needed to post this…

I have had the pleasure of being more involved in quite a few sports programs here and have met the best people and their kids as well as some great coaches that truly represent what I value in raising our kids.

The recent baseball program that ended last night with a huge parade and family party was something I can’t explain but wanted to share my endorsement of these programs. What a great bunch of kids I had the pleasure to help coach and I am somewhat sad it’s over and can’t wait for fall-ball and football to start.

Thank you to everyone involved in these programs and for making the real reason for a home in our area even more special.

Regardless of what you feel is important, I will always promise to do my best to build your family a quality home so you are comfortable and have no worries to enjoy the more important things in life.

Special thanks to our head coach for letting me be a part of the team and hope that we made a difference in these young athletes future sports careers!

Lots of baseball this weekend and figured good time for my “Summer Open House”this Sunday June 14 from 2-4.

It’s a great opportunity to come see our workmanship and what we believe is important in any home.

Happy Mother’s Day!

I know all
Kinds of Moms…

There are those that have furry kids and the 2 legged kind.

There are moms who have stepped in to be a mom to someone who needs a mom.

There are moms that are still here and bring the best mom they can and those who have past and make us remember how good a mom they were.

There are moms that expect special treatment today and those who deserve special treatment today.

There are great moms in this world and unfortunately not so great.

There are moms that concentrate on giving things to impress their kids today and those that give guidance which will last a lifetime!

We all define what we feel is important, and it’s great to have the kids enjoy today with mom - but how they feel about their mom when they become an adult / well that truly defines a great mom!
So please make sure it’s not just about appreciation today - it’s about how they work on building character every day…that’s a mom’s real job and not an easy one!

I miss my mom every day as it’s almost ten years she’s gone and my daughter misses her grandma and my son never got to meet her, but I know I’m doing the best I can to make her proud of me and her grandchildren!

And it doesn’t hurt I have the best wife to be a mom to my kids!

Thanks Christina for taking over to keep me on track and watching out for the kids! We are very lucky to have you!
