Just finished up a 1.5" red oak floor out by Deer Creek, MN. I sanded it down to a clean, level surface and finished it with Loba satin for a durable, low-sheen look that'll hold up for years. Solid oak like this is a joy to work with — good bones make for a great result.

Century-Old Farmhouse, Refinished

Maple floors in a 100+ year old farmhouse near Lake Park — sanded and refinished with an oil-based satin finish. Oil-based satin gives maple a rich, warm depth that really shows off the wood's natural grain. Old-growth maple like this doesn't come around often, and it's always a treat to bring it back to life.

Hidden Fir Floor Reveal in Detroit Lakes

Uncovered this beautiful old fir floor in Detroit Lakes after it spent years hidden under carpet! 😍

You never know what's waiting underneath until you pull that carpet back. Sanded it down and finished it with Loba satin to bring out all that natural character and grain. Floors like this are why I love this job — there's nothing like revealing something this special.

Rough Oak to New Refinished Look: A Gary Ave Transformation

These 1.5" oak floors on Gary Ave in Detroit Lakes were rough in spots when I started — but that's exactly the kind of challenge I love. 😅

I sanded them down to get an even surface, then trowel-filled the gaps — it's that extra step that makes the difference between a decent floor and a great one. Finished it off with Loba water-based satin for a clean, durable look. From tired and worn to smooth and ready for another few decades. 🙌

Squeezed in a Fir floor refinish in Fargo so the homeowners could move in on schedule.

Beautiful pine floor refinish out on Little Pine Lake in Perham! 🌲

These floors got a warm fruitwood stain and a durable polyurethane finish that really brings out the natural grain in the pine. Nothing beats seeing a tired old floor come back to life like this. 😍
