This week we welcome Jeremiah Nixon to the Hawg Performance Spotlight.
Jeremiah is a Class of 2026 offensive and defensive lineman out of Linganore High School, standing 6’4” and 265 pounds. His presence in the trenches speaks for itself, but what sets Jeremiah apart goes well beyond his size and position. He carries a 3.8 unweighted GPA, a 4.4 weighted GPA, and a 1310 SAT score, making him a very well-rounded student athlete.
On the field, Jeremiah was part of a Linganore team that brought home a state championship, an experience he described as one he is deeply grateful for. His recruitment has reflected the kind of attention that comes from consistent hard work, picking up offers from Carleton College, Dickinson College, Hamilton College, and Frostburg State along the way. He also spent time sharpening his craft at the Cornell Football Camp, where he credited the coaching staff for helping him grow as an athlete.
Off the field, Jeremiah has a perspective on the game that is rare for someone his age. He sees football as more than a sport. In his own words, it is a training ground for the challenges life has in store.
Coached at the high school level by Rick Connor and privately by Shannon Breen, Jeremiah Nixon is exactly the kind of young man this spotlight was built for. We are proud to have him in the Hawg Performance family.
