β¨πCommunity Announcement πβ¨
We are so honored to share that Northern Illinois Radon Remedies and Mort's Bar & Grill are hosting their FOURTH Annual Toy Drive, and this year they have invited Hope WINS to join their tradition of giving ππ«
Every year this drive supports a different group, and this year the love is going straight to Head Start - Freeport, IL children! ππΆβ¨
We are also joined by Rootz & Branchez and Re-Spun Records & Resale who are also doubling as drop off locations for any physical items during their business hours, and for Bargain Maxx and their amazing generosity. We will continue adding more community partners as they step forward to support this mission πποΈ
Because Hope WINS has been welcomed into this beautiful project, we are turning to our village, our community of heart and strength, to help us make this dream real.
Together, we hope to support 100 preschool aged children with two needed clothing items, one brand new toy, one book, and a cozy little treat, like cocoa and a story ππβπ
A donation of $10 sponsors one child, giving them the chance to walk into Bargain Maxx and choose two needed items, shirts, pants, shoes, socks, hats, gloves, backpacks, and more, items that make them feel warm, confident, and cared for πποΈ
Bargain Maxx will match or go above matching each sponsorship, ensuring every child receives two high quality items chosen with dignity and joy ππ
We are asking our community for monetary donations, brand new in the box toys, and new or gently used books, anything that can help us reach our $2,000 goal and wrap these kids in love this season πππ«
β€οΈ How to Donate
Monetary donations can be sent through Cash App at:
https://cash.app/$hopewins2023
Please include βToy Driveβ in the notes so we can allocate it correctly ππ
New toys can be dropped off to Rootz & Branchez as well as Re-spun Records by Wednesday next week, as well as new or gently used preschool aged books!
This drive is not just about gifts, it is about dignity, connection, warmth, and reminding every child that their community sees them, celebrates them, and believes they deserve magic β¨β€οΈ
Together, we can make this the most memorable year yet ππ
