Her child says Patricia went without food when times were tough just to make sure her kids could eat. In 2020, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and spent two years fighting through chemo, radiation, and full-time work all at once. Then, just one year after entering remission, her family suffered the sudden loss of her husband.
