TODAY WENT SIDEWAYS!!!! Everything planned for two different jobs went completely opposite of what was expected. From hole patching, adding receptacles, light swaps, painting trim, and more. Nothing, absolutely nothing went as planned. But, that’s the thing that comes with experience. You learn to adjust and execute to finish out the day by focusing on what’s within your control. The beauty of being a Handyman is not every day is the same and you learn from each unique experience to better prepare for the next. Problem solving and creativity are a must. When it comes down to it, I’m grateful God woke me up for another day so I could serve others.

Reminder to check the date on your smoke detectors. You should be changing the batteries every couple of years at a minimum and the lifespan of a smoke detector is 10 years. This customer had a couple older units acting up on her so she decided to be safe and replace them all now. This can LITERALLY save your life.
